How to build your first report in Spider Data

2026-06-22 · 5 min read

One of the things that holds a hotel back is that pulling a good report feels like an expert’s job: export to Excel, cross tables by hand, fight with formulas. Spider Data makes it simple: you drag the columns you want to see and the report builds itself, with live data from your operation. Here is the step by step.

1. Decide what you want to answer

Before touching anything, be clear on the question: which channel pays off this month? Who has not paid? How much is a repeat guest worth? That question defines which columns you will need.

2. Drag the columns

From a plain-language list, drag what you want to see: channel, rate, guest, collected, nights. Spider Data already crosses them, so a single row can hold the reservation with its agency, its rate and its payment.

3. Sum, average and calculate

  • Add totals and averages in one click.
  • Use ready calculated fields: ADR, nights, lead time, reconciliations.
  • Group by day, month or channel depending on what you want to see.

4. Share or schedule it

When your report is ready, download it, schedule it to land in your inbox every morning, or connect it to Power BI, Tableau or Looker if your team already works there. And since the data is live, the report always reflects what is happening now, not last night’s close.

That is it. No IT, no analyst and no opaque quote: your hotel’s business intelligence, within reach of anyone on your team.

Let your data speak, with AI.

Advanced reports, analytics and artificial intelligence over your whole operation. Live, no IT, no analyst required. With human support in Spanish.
